As a responsible employer, we take the health and well-being of our colleagues very seriously and are committed to supporting initiatives to give our colleagues time away from work to rest, relax and recharge.

To this end we have taken the decision to close Matrix on Friday 18th November and give everyone at Matrix a Mental Health and Wellbeing Health Day.

We are treating the day like a bank holiday, which means most departments will be closed for the day, with an enhanced out of hours team available to deal with urgent/emergency situations only, such as last-minute shifts.

Why are Matrix having a Mental Wellbeing Health Day?

We are having this day in order to give staff an extra day of rest to support their health and wellbeing. We understand how important it is to look after yourself, and we are supportive of this for our teams. We hope you will be too.

Will my account be monitored?

We ask that you consider ensuring any business-as-usual queries are raised prior to Friday. Anything that isn’t urgent will be resolved when your dedicated Customer Success Executive and Business Manager return on Monday 21st November.

We will have a team available made up of skeleton staff to answer calls regarding urgent queries during the day. They can be reached by calling your usual Matrix phone number.

Please note that any emails sent to your client inbox may experience a short delay due to the use of skeleton staff for this day. There will be an out of office on all client inboxes encouraging managers to call and speak to a member of the team for any urgent requests.

Will our suppliers and CDL workers still be paid?

Yes, this will still happen as usual and there will be members the Finance and CDL team available for urgent queries.

Will we still be able to use Live Support?

Live support will be available to use during the hours of 9am and 5pm, again for urgent queries only.

Will the team working get a day off too?

Absolutely! Their day has been arranged for the following Friday, which will be a standard working day for the rest of the Matrix Team.
