Neil joined Matrix as Chief Executive Officer in 2025, bringing more than two decades of international leadership experience in workforce management, talent solutions and large-scale organisational transformation. His arrival marks an important next chapter as Matrix accelerates its growth and continues to strengthen its position as a trusted partner for organisations seeking smarter, more seamless ways to connect people to work. Neil has held senior executive roles across Europe, Asia-Pacific and Australia, including leadership positions at ManpowerGroup’s TAPFIN business, AMS, Pontoon Solutions and Geometric Results (GRI). He also served as Chief Executive Officer for Adecco Australia and New Zealand, overseeing significant operational and commercial expansion across the region. With deep expertise in contingent workforce management, MSP and RPO delivery, and technology-enabled talent solutions, Neil brings a sharp focus on operational excellence, innovation and customer value. He is passionate about helping organisations navigate a rapidly changing employment landscape and ensuring Matrix continues to deliver market-leading workforce management, background screening and total talent solutions. Suzi Smith

Managing Director – Matrix Workforce & Milestone

Suzi joined Matrix in April 2024 and brings a strategic, customer-centred perspective shaped by an extensive background in resourcing operations, client services and workforce transformation. Her career includes senior leadership roles at global organisations, most recently as VP of Solutions and Alliance Partners at the Adecco Group. As Managing Director of Matrix Workforce and Matrix Milestone, Suzi leads the strategy, performance and evolution of two of Matrix’s core solution lines. She works closely with clients to understand their long-term workforce ambitions and ensures Matrix’s services, technology and delivery models continue to meet the shifting needs of both public and private sector organisations. Known for her high EQ, clarity of thought and strong operational leadership, Suzi excels at building empowered teams and fostering a culture of service excellence. Her focus on market insight, customer value and product innovation is strengthening Matrix’s ability to help organisations manage complexity, reduce risk and achieve meaningful workforce outcomes. Suzi is deeply committed to shaping solutions that deliver sustainable impact, supporting organisations to build modern workforce models that work today and are fit for the future.

Roger joined Matrix in early 2023 to lead a bold phase of growth and innovation across the business. With nearly three decades of experience in human capital management, HR outsourcing and workforce technology, he brings a rare blend of strategic insight and operational expertise to his role. As Managing Director of Matrix Security Watchdog, Roger is focused on shaping the future of background screening. His career spans global RPO, MSP and HR leadership roles, giving him a deep understanding of how employers balance risk, compliance and candidate experience in an increasingly complex environment. Today, he is steering Matrix Security Watchdog through a transformative period, combining advanced technology with human expertise to help organisations hire safely, confidently and at speed. Roger is passionate about building solutions that reflect the realities of the modern workforce and empowering organisations to stay ahead of emerging hiring risks. His leadership continues to strengthen Matrix’s position as a trusted partner in smarter, safer and more reliable screening.

Chief Product & Technology Officer

Ashley joined Matrix in 2022 to advance our technology platform, setting a foundation for digital innovation across the business, most notably the innovation and roll-out of Matrix Prism. A technologist by background, he has a history of transforming organisations into digitally led enterprises, using technology to drive growth. His prior roles at Thomson Reuters and Personal Group Plc underscore his expertise in creating future-ready digital solutions, aligning Matrix’s technology with the evolving needs of our customers, suppliers, and the wider world of work. 

Jodie Ratcliffe

Chief People Officer

Joining Matrix in March 2023, Jodie brings 15 years of HR experience in varied generalist roles, along with Chartered CIPD membership, Mental Health First Aid Instructor credentials, and coaching qualifications. Passionate about building a supportive, engaging workplace, Jodie is dedicated to Matrix’s mission of fostering a culture where each team member can be their best self. Her focus on developing a people-centric environment reflects the evolving needs of today’s workforce and strengthens Matrix’s foundation for growth.
