Social value is embedded into every part of how Matrix connects people to work. From widening access to employment to supporting skills, sustainability and community growth, our model ensures organisations gain workforce solutions that deliver meaningful, measurable impact alongside operational value.
For many organisations across both the public and private sector, demonstrating social value is no longer optional. Procurement teams must show clear evidence of community impact, progress against ESG commitments and tangible outcomes that align with national frameworks such as the Social Value Model and National TOMs.
Matrix makes this simpler. Because our solutions are built around connecting people to work, social value is baked into every engagement, not added on as a separate initiative. Clients benefit from measurable community and economic outcomes as a natural part of working with us, supported by transparent reporting and a dedicated Social Value Team.
What this means for our clients:
We create pathways into employment for people facing barriers, improving access to good work and supporting fair, inclusive labour markets.
Our activity includes:
We invest in upskilling, career development and future workforce capability to strengthen local economies and create long-term impact.
We help organisations operate more responsibly, supporting stronger, fairer and more sustainable communities.

Thank you Siobhan for delivering this very useful and beneficial workshop to the apprentices. Even in a challenging time you were able to adapt and bring some positivity over the misery we face.
I have to say that I learnt a lot and have taken a lot of your advice and suggestions on board. The presentation was well structured and easy to understand and delivered at a good pace.
It is clear from your presenting that you have expertise in the field and as a result have instilled confidence in the apprentices as you clearly know the industry well.
Partnering with Matrix means gaining a workforce solution and a clear route to delivering measurable ESG and social value outcomes.
